Overview
Phobia came to us with a unique challenge: reducing high churn rates by creating a more effective and engaging onboarding process. We discovered that their initial approach of manual selection led to less accurate matches, as users sometimes selected phobias they didn't truly experience.
To address this, we designed an interactive onboarding system that displays a curated slideshow of common phobias. By capturing real-time user reactions (with full transparency and user consent), we personalize their experience, enhancing the algorithm’s accuracy and boosting engagement.
We're also exploring immersive experiences using VR to create realistic scenarios that can identify genuine phobias more precisely. Our first scenario in development—playfully titled 'A Leap into the Unknown'—is designed to safely gauge user responses and improve matching. With these solutions, we're proud to help Phobia connect users with more tailored support and experiences.
